This wonderful aged reclaimed oak serving platter can be used in many ways around your house and will absolutely make a statement in any room, from serving cheese, meats or tapas, serving salad or you can even use it as a fruit or vegetable bowl.

Each bowl is handcrafted from 100 year old reclaimed Oak wine barrels that has been discarded by the wine industry in South Africa. A great gift for couples, an anniversary or as a wedding gift.

The natural charm, colour and patina has been preserved and on some you can still see the dark red colour of matured wine. This unique platter is made using the natural curve of the staves of the barrels and gives it it's natural curve.

Made from

Reclaimed Oak wine barrels.

Our products come treated with 100% olive oil, and we suggest you do the same. Treatment with olive oil ensures that no water or contamination penetrate the wood.

Hand wash with hot water and mild soap, then wipe dry with a cloth. Never soak in water. Once fully dried, apply a thin coat of olive oil and polish on all sides using a paper towel. Wooden boards can be damaged if exposed to too much moisture or allowed to get very dry. Avoid prolonged soaking or direct sunlight.
